This event, slated for July 20 at the Colony West Golf Club in Tamara, Florida, is a tribute to the resilience and cultural impact of Caribbean women from diverse backgrounds. The museum, a vital link to the Caribbean heritage in South Florida, is set to recognize outstanding women like Yolanda Cash-Jackson, Tamara Beliard Rodriguez, and Mary Sol Gonzalez among others.
The HERS celebration will feature a grand fashion showcase spotlighting designers from the Caribbean and African diaspora. Attendees can also explore an artisan marketplace teeming with authentic Caribbean offerings. Notable guest presenters include Dr. Lydia Malcolm, Makeup by Rory Lee, and hair health specialist Peggy Nisbett Riggs.
