Kiko Kostadinov’s Parisian Bohemian Chic: Fall/Winter ’25 Fashion Inspiration

Kiko Kostadinov’s Fall/Winter ’25 Collection Evokes Parisian Bohemian Elegance

Kiko Kostadinov, a standout at Paris Fashion Week menswear earlier this year, continued to dazzle during the Fall/Winter ’25 womenswear season. The show took place at the iconic Brasserie Mollard, a venerable Art Nouveau establishment in Paris, setting the stage for a collection inspired by the free-spirited women of 1950s Paris.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Vali Myers, an Australian dancer who found her muse in the bohemian allure of Paris, Kostadinov’s designs paid homage to the era’s liberation and artistic fervor. The collection, a tribute to the women who embraced Paris as a haven of creativity and freedom, exuded a sense of whimsy and sophistication.

The runway showcased a fusion of classic undergarments and contemporary elements, with mesh tights layered over delicate knits, modern brassieres paired with structured crinolines, and blouses that echoed the elegance of corsets. The tailored pieces, reminiscent of the tomboyish charm of 1950s Teddy Girls, featured drawstring waists and rope belts, reimagining traditional shirting and suiting with a modern twist.

Outerwear made a statement with cropped voluminous silhouettes and sweeping shapes crafted from luxurious materials like knitted mohair, moleskin, and alpaca. A collaboration with ASICS introduced a new split-toe sneaker, complemented by the brand’s doctor’s bags and gemstone neckerchiefs, adding a sporty-chic touch to the collection.

Kostadinov’s vision of Parisian bohemian chic was further enhanced by black and white portraits from Ed Van Der Elsken’s iconic series, “Love on the Left Bank,” which captured the essence of the era’s avant-garde spirit. The designer’s meticulous attention to detail and historical references brought a sense of nostalgia and sophistication to the runway.

As the show concluded, guests were left mesmerized by the fusion of past and present, as Kiko Kostadinov’s Fall/Winter ’25 collection celebrated the enduring allure of Parisian fashion and the timeless elegance of bohemian style.
